By donating locally, you will have the satisfaction of seeing the faces of the people you are helping, and new community connections are made. Give your previously loved things a second life while helping others with theirs!

Donate your gently used things to people in your local community who are currently and verifiably receiving social assistance. All items on freeMarket are given away for free. Giving your previously loved items a new home is easy! Simply create an account, describe your item, upload a few photos, and you are done! Once a connection is made, the recipient will contact you for collection.
Recipients
If you are receiving social assistance, freeMarket is a stress-free place to search for free clothing, toys, household items, and other things that you may need. Searching is easy! Simply create your account, complete our social assistance verification form, and then search freeMarket. When you have located an item, contact the donor directly and arrange for collection.
